Home services marketing FAQs cover the questions every tradie and home service business owner asks before they hire an agency. This page answers the most common ones, grouped into five areas: money and fees, results and timelines, what to do if you have been burned before, whether we are the right fit for your trade, and how the work actually gets done each month. You can also read what we do for home service trades or find more about Ads Camps.
The questions on this page come from owners across all of these trades. Whether you run a cleaning round, a plumbing business or a pool service, the answers on fees, results and contracts apply the same way.

If your question is about your own trade, ask us on a free call.
See the questionsThere are no prices on this website. Every home service business needs a different plan. A sole operator running one cleaning round in a Perth suburb and a removals company covering three states need different budgets, different services and different strategies. Showing a single number would not give you a useful answer, so we give you a real quote on a free call instead.
The management fee and the ad spend are two separate things. The management fee is what you pay us to run the campaigns. The ad spend is what goes to Google, Meta or Microsoft to show your ads. Those two amounts are billed separately. When you are comparing agencies, ask each one to break out both figures.
Monthly services run on a 3-month minimum. This gives Google Ads enough time to collect conversion data and exit its learning period, and gives SEO enough time to show early movement. After the minimum, you can cancel with 30 days written notice.

It depends on the service, your trade and how big you want to go. Our current prices for Google Ads, SEO and websites are on our pricing page.
Monthly services have a 3-month minimum. After that, you can cancel with 30 days’ written notice.
No. Your Google Ads spend is billed directly by Google to your own account. You pay Google for the clicks, and you pay us for managing the account.
Before any campaign starts, we set up conversion tracking. This records calls and form enquiries that follow an ad click or an organic search result. Phone calls count only above a minimum call length you choose, so short or wrong-number calls do not count as real enquiries. Tracking cannot always connect every phone call to a final sale, and some calls come from people who found you through other channels. Google Ads results improve over time as the bidding algorithm learns from more conversion data. SEO results build gradually as more pages are indexed and more links point to your site. Neither channel delivers instant, stable results from the first week.
No, and be careful of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google or your customers. What we do is run your ads or SEO carefully, report on jobs and calls, and tell you the truth about what is and is not working.
Usually months, not weeks. Broad searches in a big city are the slowest. We set honest expectations on the first call.
Ads can start showing as soon as they are approved, so calls can begin in the first weeks. It takes a few months of adjusting to get the cost per call down.
We work with home service businesses. We also run our own, including UrgentPro and Majestic Cleaning Pros, so we test things on our own money first. Client case studies will be added once we have permission to share them.
Not on this site yet. We will only publish ones we can prove and that the client has agreed to share.
Many owners tell us they got reports full of clicks and impressions but no extra jobs. We report on calls and bookings, we explain every term, and you can ask us anything about where your money went.
Yes. We report on calls, enquiries and jobs first, and explain the rest.
Since 2018, we have worked only with home service businesses. We do not work with law firms, restaurants, retail or professional services. The 15 trade categories we work with are cleaning, removalists, plumbing, electrical, pest control, lawn mowing, handyman, painting, roofing and renovations, flooring, HVAC, pool and spa, rubbish removal, locksmiths and mobile services.
We are based in Perth and work with owners across Australia. All the work is done by our 12-person in-house team. We do not outsource to overseas contractors. If you are outside Perth, read about working with you remotely. We use phone calls, shared reporting dashboards and screen sharing to cover everything an in-person meeting would.
We work with sole operators in a single suburb and with multi-crew businesses covering whole states. The right service and the right budget depend on your trade, your service area, your competition and your capacity. We confirm all of this on the free consultation call. To see what the work looks like in practice, read how we run Google Ads and our SEO work.
After the consultation call, we send a written quote that breaks out the management fee and the ad budget separately. You decide whether to proceed. There is no obligation after the call and no follow-up sales pressure. If you go ahead, onboarding takes a few business days to set up access, review your existing accounts and build the campaign structure before anything goes live.

No. We work with home service businesses of all kinds, including plumbers, electricians, pest controllers, painters, roofers and more.

Yes. We work with home service businesses across Australia, remotely.
When you agree to start, we ask for read-only access to your existing Google Ads account, Search Console or Google Business Profile so we can see what has been done before. A Google Ads setup covers keyword research by match type, negative keyword lists to block searches outside your trade and service area, conversion tracking for calls and form fills, and the first round of ad copy in variants so we can test them. After launch, the work is ongoing: reviewing which search terms triggered your ads, adjusting bids, pausing underperforming ads and writing replacements. For SEO, the first months focus on your Google Business Profile, the core service pages on your website and your review strategy. Content and technical work come after the foundation is in place.
Ads and SEO both work best with a website that turns visitors into calls. If yours does not, we can build one or fix it.
Setting up your campaign (keyword research, negative keywords, ad copy, extensions, conversion tracking), then weekly and monthly work: bid changes, search term cleaning, ad testing, quality checks and a monthly report.
Local SEO covers suburb-level keyword targeting, your Google Business Profile, Maps ranking work, citations, on-page changes, a review strategy and monthly rank tracking. Full-scale SEO adds city-wide strategy, location pages, technical SEO, monthly blog content and reporting.
